Wear Close

Privacy

Your data, kept small.

The short version

We collect one thing: the email address you give us to join the waitlist. We use it only to tell you about Wear Close. We don’t sell it, share it, or use it for advertising, and you can have it deleted at any time.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we store your email address, which page you signed up from, and the date and time. That’s all. This site uses no tracking cookies, no analytics and no advertising pixels, and our fonts are served from our own server, so visiting it doesn’t send your data to anyone else.

Why, and on what basis

To email you when the first pairs are ready, and occasionally with news about Wear Close before launch. We do this because you asked us to: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).

Where it’s kept, and for how long

On a server we run ourselves, not in a third-party marketing tool. Traffic to the site passes through Cloudflare, which protects and delivers it. We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist is no longer needed, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, or just write to [email protected] and we’ll act within 30 days. If you’re in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If we start collecting anything else, for example when orders open, we’ll update this page first and change the date below.
